One of my most favorite bands, Wilco, is back in town tonight and I have a ticket. I don't have a photo pass for the show, but I may be able to take a photo or two anyway, with some good fortune.
Last time they were in Seattle I shot a few pics of them, like this one:

I'm hoping for an equally fantastic show tonight.
I was thinking today that it had been a while since I've posted to Flickr, but I had no idea that it has been 3 or 4 months (October!) since I'd been there.
Heck, back in October, I was uploading kids' soccer pictures and a photo or two of my grandma Ruth, who passed away in December. Things have changed.
Truth be told, it's been tough for a while to stay in a daily or at least weekly rhythm of shooting and uploading, and then if I do upload, figuring out where to put the shot. I could put them at the iShootYouLive.com website, which is hosted via SmugMug, or on Flickr, or Tumblr, or here on Posterous, or Facebook, or ... just dumped to my Macbook Pro's hard drive and left there (which has become the default option).
I don't really miss the massive amount of time I used to spend exploring Flickr groups or on casual contacts' flickr streams making comments and trying to get return comments and views and whatever else.
But I do miss the inspiration from seeing others' work and the fun finds.
I think part of why I let the Flickr stream wither is that it's hard to figure out what to post to SmugMug (which has become my "shots I'll sell, and portfolio to drum up work" site), and the other systems. A fantastic shot that I want to sell prints of... should it go everywhere? Just to SmugMug with links everywhere else? It's a tough call sometimes.
I'm going to try these changes:
I'm sure this will all change, but it's helpful for me to think through what I want to do and where.
